香港大學秀圃老年研究中心邀請您參與由樓瑋群教授主理的題為「以功能性方法探討香港和新加坡獨居長者對社交機械人之接受程度研究」的探索性研究。這項研究旨在探討獨居長者對社交機械人之接受程度，旨在提出切實可行的建議，以推廣社交機械人的應用。參加者有機會與社交機械人作出互動，並會獲得合照一張以作答謝。
研究詳情：
內容：（1）自行填寫網上問卷；（2）參與個人深度訪談，及（3）與社交機械人作出三次互動
時期：2022年6月至2022年12月
需時：每節需時60至90分鐘
地點：香港大學秀圃老年研究中心
(香港薄扶林沙宣道5號香港賽馬會跨學科研究大樓2樓)
參與者需符合以下條件:

年齡介乎於60歲至75歲

獨居於香港
-
能與研究員以粵語、英語或普通話溝通
-
沒有任何精神或認知問題(例如認知障礙症或抑鬱症)

You are invited to participate in a project entitled “A functional approach to measuring acceptance of social robots among elderly singletons in Hong Kong and Singapore” conducted by Prof. Vivian W.Q. Lou at the Sau Po Centre on Ageing, The University of Hong Kong. This project aims to explore the technology acceptance towards social robots among elderly singletons for promoting a wider application of social robots amidst an ageing society. You will have an opportunity to interact with a social robot and receive a photo as incentive.
Details of the study:
Content: (1) fill in a self-administered online questionnaire, (2) join individual interviews, and (3) interact with a social robot for three times.
Time: From June 2022 to December 2022
Duration: 60 to 90 minutes for each session
Venue: Sau Po Centre on Ageing, The University of Hong Kong
(2/F, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Building for Interdisciplinary Research, 5 Sassoon Road, Pokfulam, Hong Kong)
Participants Requirements:

Aged 60 to 75

Living alone in Hong Kong

Able to communicate with the researcher in either Cantonese, English, or Mandarin

Without known cognitive or mental issues (such as dementia and depression)

Voluntary participation
